NELSON, CO., Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Nelson County deputy who is charged with assault and domestic violence is out on bond.
K-9 Officer Brandon Bryan was released on Oct.23 on a $5,000 bond. He is accused of 4th-degree assault.
Few details surrounding his case have been released.
Bryan's been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending an investigation. The Nelson County Sheriff's Office responded to a dispute on Balltown Road and arrested Bryan.
