Murder suspect found incompetent for trial

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man accused of killing his former teacher has been found incompetent to stand trial. 

Ronshai Jenefor is charged with stabbing 55-year-old Stephen Dillard at his Jeffersontown Home back in March 2015.

Dillard taught at Carrithers Middle School, he was also known for teaching others how to play chess.

On Tuesday, a judge ruled Jenefor was mentally ill.

He's been committed to Central State Hospital, and will be re-evaluated in a year to see if he can stand trial.
