1 of the 'Misidentified Four' murdered

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – The coroner has identified a man who was shot and killed in the 300 block of East Oak Street on Sunday, March 27.

Twenty-one-year-old Tyrone Booker, Jr., was pronounced dead at University Hospital at 2:12 p.m., according to the coroner, and he died from single gunshot wound.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m.

Police have not named any suspects.

Booker was one of the young men known as the "Misidentified Four," who were wrongfully accused of robbery down by the Big Four Bridge in March 2014.

Booker, Shaquazz Allen, Jerron Bush and Craig Dean spent two months in jail before a Grand Jury failed to indict and the charges against them were dropped.

About a year after that, the four agreed to a $1.5 million settlement with the City of Louisville.
