Louisville teen dies after Lexington shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are looking for answers after a Louisville teenager was shot and killed Saturday.
 
Police responded to a townhome on Unity Drive after 2 a.m. for a call about shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they said they found Nathaniel McNealy, 18, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. 
 
Police have not disclosed much information in the case but said the incident likely stemmed from an altercation during a party.
 
They have no suspects in custody.

McNealy’s family said they are planning to have a balloon release to honor him. It’s scheduled for 6:30 Monday night at Berrytown Park in Louisville.
