LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is in federal custody and will face a judge Wednesday morning.
He is facing charges of attempted murder of a federal employee.
Thirty-eight-year-old Eric Bennett's charges come from a shooting that happened in February 2014 where mail carrier Da'Ron Lester was shot while delivering mail on Dearborn Avenue in Louisville.
Investigators originally suspected the shooting came from a dispute over drugs between Lester and Bennett's brother.
If convicted, Bennett could face up to 20 years in prison for that charge.
