LMPD looking to ID vehicle break-in suspects

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – The Louisville Metro Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying two men who are accused of breaking into vehicles in the Lake Forest and east Louisville areas.

LMPD said on Aug. 20 the 8th Division started to see an increase in the break-ins. They said the vehicles targeted were primarily unlocked and the items inside were stolen.

Items that were taken include: credit cards, laptops, electronics, clothes, handbags, checkbooks, iPads and purses.

LMPD said the credit cards were taken and used soon after the break-ins.

The photos of the suspects were taken when they used a stolen credit card, LMPD said.

The break-ins are still widespread and there have been more than 10 thefts in the area since Aug. 20.
