KSP asks for public's assistance in case involving former LaRue Co. HS principal

LARUE CO., Ky. (WHAS11) – Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s help in an investigation involving a man, 36-year-old Stephen K. Goodlett, who is facing charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

KSP wants you to contact them if you attended Elizabethtown High School anytime form 2010 to 2012 or LaRue County High School anytime from 2012 to 2016 and your cell phone was confiscated by school staff.

Goodlett was arrested earlier in October following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. Their investigation began after a complaint was filed with the Elizabethtown Police Department.

Goodlett was fired from his position as LaRue Co. High School principal on Oct. 18.
