LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Three people were arrested today in connection with a string of shootings in Louisville on Dec. 12.
Just before 4 p.m., a 15-year-old reported a group of people shot at him while driving by on St. Louis Avenue. The teen was not injured.
An hour later, two people were shot on S. 32nd Ave. and four more were later shot on 17th Street.
Investigators believed the shootings were connected based on the description of the vehicle involved. When they found that car, which turned out to be stolen, they conducted interviews and ultimately arrested three people.
Marcus Greene, 18, and Dae-Vaughn Sullivan, 18, are both charged with wanton endangerment for the St. Louis Avenue incident. Greene is also charged with the shooting on 17th Street.
Mekell Williams, 20, is charged with receiving stolen property.
Police are still investigating the shooting on 32nd Street.
