1 dead in Cherokee Triangle shooting, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are searching for suspects after a man was shot to death in the Cherokee Triangle Sunday.

The incident happened in the 1200 block of Everett Avenue just after 7 p.m.

Police say the victim, in his 30’s, was with his wife visiting friends in the neighborhood.

According to police, the victim and his wife were walking home when there was some type of argument between them and two men.

Police believe the suspects shot the victim and ran away. They have not released a description of the suspects at this time.
