Victoria's Secret customers say bras made them sick

BOTHELL, Wash. - Lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret might have a dirty little secret.
A lawsuit claims some of the company's bras have caused women to break out in hives and rashes.
It’s something one woman from Bothell says she experienced too.
Bothell resident Julie Leach bought two Victoria’s secret bras at the beginning of the year for Valentine's Day. She says she was excited about the purchase until she actually wore one of the bras for several hours.
"Within the day I started itching really bad under my breasts,” she said. “And started breaking out in hives."
She says her skin developed dime-sized welts that only formed where the bra touched her skin.
"Very uncomfortable,” she said. “It was itching to the point where there was blood, itching it so bad.”
It was bad enough that she went to doctor.
Eventually the rash went away, but she's worn a different brand of bra since, without any reaction.

Some women claim bras from Victoria's Secret caused them to develop skin rashes.
It happened to others. A lawyer in Ohio is trying to sue, saying a lab found the Angel's Secret Embrace bra and the Very Sexy Extreme Me Push Up bra tested positive for formaldehyde.
A representative for Victoria’s Secret told KING 5: “Millions of women love Victoria's Secret bras. We have strict quality controls around our products, and we do not use formaldehyde in our bras.”
Leach doesn't know much about the lawsuit, but she does know she'll never wear those bras again.
"Threw them away,” she said. “Threw $80 away."
The class action paperwork has already been filed in Ohio. It’s now up to a judge to decide if the case can move forward and if women from other states can join it.
