LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- UPS is looking for 1,000 seasonal employees to help with the holiday rush at world port in Louisville.
The company needs part-time package handlers for day and overnight shifts.
Pay starts at $8.50 an hour and all seasonal employees can apply for a permanent position at the beginning of the year.
The peak season runs from November through December. Peak day is December 20 when UPS expects to deliver 28-million packages worldwide.
