Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- The iPad has given millions of users a new way to think and communicate, and that is also the case for a group of orangutans in Miami.
The orangutans have been drawing and painting on the iPad for a year, and most recently, learned how to identify symbols.
The app called "Tap to Talk" shows a group of symbols like a banana and a peanut, and the orangutan has to pick the right one.
Caregivers say they are amazed that there seems to be no end to the orangutans' ability to learn.
