(WHAS11) - A second teenager is facing charges in the accidental shooting of a 13-year-old boy near a southern Indiana elementary school in August. Juvenile court charges of carrying a handgun without a license and dangerous possession of a firearm have been filed against a 14-year-old Castle High School student. The Warrick County prosecutor's office says another 14-year-old boy was handling the .38 caliber handgun when it fired, wounding his friend in the chest. Police say the gun belonged to the wounded teen's father and was taken without permission. No adults are being charged.
