(WHAS11) - As if we need any more reasons to get a good night's sleep!

A new study reveals that junk food is even more appealing to your brain when you're starved for sleep. The study says that a loss of sleep can lead to dysfunction in appetite signaling in specific areas of your brain - typically the areas that help make smart and informed food choices.

The study also says that in addition to sleepy people eating more fattening food, they're also eating more in general.
