Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - WHAS11 News has learned that residents of Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood have voted and decided to allow alcohol sales.
600 residents in precinct M-107 were eligible to participate in the wet-dry vote, but many voters said they were unsure of how they would vote.
"I'm kind of torn," says Ruth Lofton, who has lived in the west end neighborhood for more than 20 years. "I don't want to see people lose their business, but at the same time, I don't want to see new liquor stores and clubs on every corner."
Voting began Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. and by noon, about 60 people had voted.
