(WHAS11)- WHAS11 has learned of a recall to tell you about that could affect your morning cup of coffee.
Certain Mr. Coffee coffeemakers are under recall for a dangerous malfunction.
It involves 600,000 of the Chinese made Mr. Coffee single cup brewing systems.
The appliance can suddenly release a stream of scalding water and coffee grounds.
The defect has caused 61 injuries, including burns to the face and hands.
Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, JC Penney as well as Bed Bath and Beyond all sold them.
