(WHAS11) -- The new fashion-forward bicycle helmet, priced at $600, is not your typical hard plastic, but instead remains invisible until you need it.
Designers at a Swedish Company created an 'invisible bicycle helmet' that is hidden inside a collar and then inflates automatically during a crash, similar to an airbag.
The designers said they didn't want to be seen wearing the typical hard plastic and foam helmets, so they came up with the design with the help of a brain trauma specialist.
