(WHAS11) -- There is some good news for beer drinkers. It takes Americans the least amount of time to earn the money for beer, according to a new survey by analysts at the Swiss bank UBS.
They determined that it takes Americans about five minutes on the job to earn a beer. That equals 96 beers over an eight hour day and 480 beers over the work week.
The analysts looked at median hourly wages and average beer prices in 150 different countries.
On average, it takes a typical worker 20 minutes to earn a beer worldwide. Beer prices are cheaper in many other countries, but so are hourly wages.
