(WHAS11) -- The first lawsuit has been filed against the Indiana cantaloupe farm blamed in a nationwide salmonella outbreak.
The suit names Chamberlain Farms in Owensville, Indiana. Walmart has also been named.
Hundreds of people were sickened and two people died in western Kentucky because of the outbreak.
The lawsuit was filed in Battle Creek, Michigan and claims one family racked up more than $25,000 in hospital bills after eating the cantaloupes.
