(WHAS11)- Parents are getting their money back, for Disney and Marvel hero themed vitamins for kids.
The maker of those vitamins NBTY has admitted that they contain only a fraction of the nutritional value claimed on the packaging.
The pills were advertised as containing a dose of DHA that would satisfy 100-percent of a child's daily requirement.
The Federal Trade Commission says in some cases, the vitamins contain only minuscule amounts of DHA, which is an omega fatty acid count in fish.
Anyone who bought the vitamins between May 2008 and September 2010 can file a claim on the FTC's website until October 12. Click here to file a claim.
