(WHAS11) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission is suing the maker of popular desktop toys buckyballs and bucky cubes.
The CPSC wants the products off the market, the agency says it has asked the maker to stop selling the products.
The agency says it's received more than 200 reports of children swallowing the tiny magnets since 2008. In some cases the magnets have gotten clumped inside or damaged the intestines.
The maker of buckyballs and bucky cubes says the products are marketed to people over 14-years-old.
