(WHAS11) - WHAS11 News has learned that some of the tests are coming back on the 12 crew members of the Belle of Louisville, who were operating the steamboat during Saturday’s collision with a dock.

The Waterfront Development Corporation told WHAS11’s Doug Proffitt that all of the alcohol tests have come back negative. It means none of the crewmembers including the captain are suspected of having any alcohol in their systems.

Investigators are still waiting for the results of drug tests.

The historic boat collided with a dock near Harrods Creek. The paddlewheel is damaged.

There were minor injuries to passengers.

The probe will look to see if drugs, human error, or weather played a role. The winds were strong on Saturday as the boat was turning.
