(WHAS11) - Bank of America says it’s getting rid of overdraft fees on all debit card transactions.
Customers who don’t have enough money in their account to cover their purchase will be denied.
Those who try to withdraw insufficient funds at the ATM will be alerted of a $35 fee if they continue.
The changes are scheduled to happen this summer, ahead of new Federal Reserve regulations aimed at protecting consumers from overdraft fees.
