(WHAS11) - The local Better Business Bureau branch and the Postal Service are teaming up to help keep consumers protected.
It's all part of National Consumer Protection Week.
“Of course, we do it all the time, all year long, but we're just taking this week to really get out in the public and teach these things,” says Reanna Smith-Hamblin of the Better Business Bureau.
The BBB and USPS are working to highlight their resources, advise consumers on how to spend money wisely and tell how to avoid being scammed by con artists.
