LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Down the aisles at the ABC Kids Expo you’ll find products invented by parents for parents.
Many who thought there has to be a better way, like mom and firefighter Tobi Porter. Long shifts kept her away from her newborn. So, she invented Milk Trays.
“This is a way for breast feeding moms to freeze their milk in single ounce servings which eliminates waste that's very common with nurser bags,” Porter said.
You’ll also find Daddy Scrubs. The father and founder who invented them needed the distinction.
“He's been to the hospital all too many times, so he'll come in with regular scrubs and be mistaken for a doctor or a nurse,” a sales rep said.
The event is at the Kentucky Expo Center and runs until Wednesday.
