(WHAS11) -- It's lip balm, baby oil, and inhalers that many people use every day.
Officials said these bottles and jars that look like the real thing are all counterfeit.
Monday, officials announced the takedown of what's believed to be one of the largest counterfeit operations of health and beauty products.
The alleged ring leaders are Pardeep Malick and his brother Hamant Mullick, who’ve both been charged with felony trademark counterfeiting.
Authorities said the brothers and roughly 20 others were making the products in an Oceanside building and storing and selling them in several other locations.
John Clark is in charge of Pfizer's investigative department and he said many consumers were fooled by the labels.
The district attorney said the brothers were found to be selling the goods to distributors. Some of the products have turned up in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida.
The big question officials are still trying to answer is which stores are selling the counterfeit goods.
Rice said they are testing the products now to find out what is actually in them.
