NEW ORLEANS - The holidays are a great time for food, family and friendship.

It's also a good time of year to become a victim of fraud. There are identity thieves, hackers and deceptive merchants on line.

The Better Business Bureau has a warning for shoppers and donors about five common holiday scams.

Cynthia Albert was in the studio to talk about all of them.

Anytime you have a question about a local business, you can get a reliability report from the Better Business Bureau. Call the local office at 581-6222.
