(WHAS11) – There’s a deal between General Motors and the United Auto Workers that could help GM make a bigger profit.
The cost-cutting deal makes it possible for the automaker to make a profit on small cars built in the United States.
The deal would cut in half the hourly wage of some UAW workers at a currently closed plant; a plant that will begin making the revamped Chevy Aveo starting next year.
