(WHAS11) Authorities are releasing more information about the five Americans who are detained in Pakistan, suspected of trying to wage Jihad on the United States.
All five are from Alexandria, Virginia. A Pakistani interrogation official told ABC News that the five wanted to wage war on the infidels and were on their way to Afganistan.
Officials said they watched YouTube videos of other attacks on Americans, and later shared a Yahoo Mail account as their desires grew towards Jjihad.
Those who knew them, however, said they were career-driven people with little in their background to suggest extremist views.
