LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two big management changes have been made at Louisville-based Thornton's, but there's still a Thornton at the top of the business.
Forty-three-year-old Tony Harris will take over as president of Thornton's in October. He's been with the oil company for 20 years.
Mike Woerner, who has been with Thornton’s since 2009, is being promoted to COO.
Matt Thornton, who held both titles of CEO and president, is becoming just the CEO.
Thornton's was founded in 1971 by Matt's father, Jim Thornton.
He has been actively involved in the business since 2002.
Thornton’s owns 174 stations in the region.
