Traffic has been a concern on many minds as the new downtown arena is set to open this year.
But the Metro Council and arena officials say a similar traffic plan is done in other cities and promises it will work.
The arena is still scheduled to open in November but with the opening will come a lot of traffic.
Wednesday, some Metro Council members got together to review the traffic plan.
The biggest suggested change is going to be permanently converting Second Street into a two-way street.
The current estimates for attendance for events at this area are anywhere from 16-23,000 people.
Committee members say Louisville does have enough parking downtown to handle the crowds and points to Rupp Arena in Lexington where UK games regularly draw 20-24,000 people.
But still there are concerns.
City officials say they are confident traffic will run smoothly with these new plans.
