LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A brewery that was founded in Louisville in 1905 will soon produce beer again.
The website for Falls City says that they're very close to opening a seven-barrel brew system at 545 Barret Avenue in the Highlands. They expect to have the brewery open by late March 2013.
This location will be used primarily for onsite tasting and for keg and growler sales.
Falls City was revived as a brand in 2010. It an English pale ale made in the craft style with all barley malt in small batches.
Plans to open a 30-barrel production brewery in the Louisville are in the works for 2017.
