LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The abrupt closing of Lynn’s Paradise Café also abruptly left their workers without a job or income. Other local restaurants like That Place On Goss are willing to hire those people now out of a job.

“Servers depend on their tips daily. Their tips are larger than the actual paycheck,” Amy Enix of That Place on Goss said.

Enix said they have two server positions open as well as a hostess position.

“With the number of employees that are there, I hope all the restaurants will step up and any position they have, to try to get people in to apply for them,” Enix said.

While the former workers look for a new job, Lynn’s former customers are on a search of their own to find a new special spot to eat, but some are up for the challenge.

“It's fun to try new places. You usually try to get some input to see if others liked it, but they said this buffet is really nice,” Patricia Craig said.
