(NEWS RELEASE) -- Kentucky: Tree clearing activities to continue
Due to some ongoing utility work, Kentucky tree clearing activities have been intermittent during the last two weeks. The majority of the tree-clearing will occur during the week of Oct. 28 and is expected to last about two weeks.
Tree clearing activities will be in the areas of KY 841 from the I-71 intersection to Wolf Pen Branch Road, and along Wolf Pen Branch Road between Green Spring Drive and Wolfpen Woods Drive. Also, some trees will be cleared at the west end of Forest Lake Drive and on the south side of Shadow Wood Drive in the Shadow Wood area; and in two locations south of Transylvania Avenue between River Road and the Ohio River.

Indiana: Tree clearing to begin near Utica beginning Oct. 30
Tree clearing is scheduled to occur on Upper River Road just north (upstream) of Utica in the vicinity of the East End Crossing construction site. This process will occur 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30 and is expected to last 4-6 days. Traffic flow will be maintained by flaggers, who will temporarily stop and guide traffic through this area when it is required. Residents are asked to use caution and drive slowly when passing through the area during this time.
