DANVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Boyle County teenager who previously went missing days after her stepmother was found dead in September was indicted in her stepmother’s death.
Jenna Oakley, 15, is facing charges in the death of her stepmother and theft by unlawful taking of more than $10,000.
Jenna Oakley was found in Mexico on Sept. 3. Oakley’s stepmother, Rhonda Oakley, was found dead on Sept. 1 in her home.
Jenna Oakley was found unharmed and was with 20-year-old Kenneth Nigh of Arlington, Ind. The two were found in a Honda Civic. That vehicle was reported stolen on the day of Rhonda Oakley’s death.
Nigh was already charged with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
