LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville Sports Information Director Kenny Klein says the matter surrounding Kevin Ware’s speeding ticket is now closed.  Klein says all the information has been reviewed and they’ve found no wrongdoing.

Yesterday University officials learned of Ware’s citation and that he was driving a 2013 Dodge Challenger owner by a student and small business owner Matt Case.

Ware was cited for driving 95 mph in a construction zone back in October on I-65.

Case said he loaned Ware the car so he could go to the Bowling Green area to see family.

Kevin Ware spoke to reporters just after the Hartford game and said he actually thought his court date for the matter was today.

Coach Pitino said he discussed the matter with Ware but was very adamant in expressing to the media that they needed to do their "homework" and it's interesting how things get out.
