LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police in St. Matthews called off a police chase Thursday morning after two accident near the Highlands.

Police said they were chasing a person driving a stolen vehicle when it caused two accident.  The first accident was at the intersection of Baxter and Lexington and the other was in the 2100 block of Lexington Road.

Police terminated the chase around the area of Bardstown Road and Grinstead Drive.  The chase reportedly went through Seneca Park.

It's not known if anyone was injured in either of those accidents.

The driver was able to get away. It's not known if police have a description of the suspect.  The Louisville Metro Police Department assisted St. Matthews Police during the chase.
