JAMESTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Golden Alert for 55-year-old John Kessinger of Saloma Road in Campbellsville.
Police say he left his residence at 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 20. Kessinger was seen in the Russell County, Jamestown area, at 9:00 p.m. but has since left the area.
Kessinger is walking and was last known to be wearing dark colored pants, dark colored shirt with the words “Got Jesus” written in write and a Notre Dame Jacket.
Kessinger is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches and 160 lbs. with Hazel eyes and Gray hair.
Kessinger has stated in the past that he was going to Tennessee to tend to a farm. The family is unaware of any farm that he would be going to. He does have family in Dandridge, Tenn. but has had no contact with the family in several years.
Kessinger is known to be delusional and possible suffering from early stages of dementia. If anyone has seen Mr. Kessinger please contact your local law enforcement agency or the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office at 270 465-4351.
