Yum! Center transformed for Julep Ball, raised money for cancer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Stars were out and about in Louisville on Derby Eve, and some helped raise money and awareness for a good cause.

The KFC Yum! Center was packed with people for the annual Julep Ball, emceed by WHAS11’s Brooke Katz.

The Yum! Center was transformed for the event took place where the basketball floor usually residents for the Cards teams.

The event had a 16 piece dance band called “The Bob Hardwick Sound” which played for four hours at the event.

Patrons were encouraged to dress up, but leave the tuxes and gala dresses at home.

WHAS11 is a sponsor of this event and the money raised benefits the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
