LOUISIVLLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—The locally based Yum! Brands started a social media campaign with their suggestion for a name for the new I-65 bridge.

The company suggested on Twitter to name the bridge the Colonel Harlan Sanders Memorial Bridge, after the founder of KFC.

They are using the hashtag ColonelBridge to get the campaign going. Some question whether Sanders is the best person to honor with the name of the bridge.

Another suggestion going through the Kentucky legislature is the Ronald Reagan Memorial Bridge, but that too had its supporters and critics.
