(WHAS11)—As the Ohio River Bridges Project gets even busier, archaeologists who were digging in Southern Indiana unearthed some historic finds.
Those workers found two limestone foundations. One is believed to be the lot belonging to a high powered governor and lieutenant governor serving both in Kentucky and Indiana in the early 1800s.
Other items found at the dig site include various types of pottery.
No word yet on if this will have an impact on the bridges project or what will happen to the items that were found.
