BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WHAS11) – Work continues at the National Corvette Museum as crews continue to restore the Skydome where a sinkhole opened up last week swallowing 8 priceless cars.

The Corvette Museum showed anchoring points via their Facebook feed where a crane can safely maneuver into position eventually fishing out some of the vehicles that fell into the hole.

In addition, the museum has built a Plexiglass wall between the Skydome and the museum so that visitors can see the sinkhole.

Once the cars are removed from the hole, they will be sent to Michigan where General Motors will restore them.
