LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman who pleaded guilty to stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from nuns is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday.
Mary Montfort pleaded guilty to money laundering and forgery in April.
Prosecutors say Montfort was the bookkeeper for the Little Sisters of the Poor. She admitted to forging checks and depositing $360,000 into her husband's account to buy cars, vacations and pay her daughters rent.
Montfort pleaded guilty to 16 counts with each charge carrying a maximum 10-year sentence.
