Wings for Kids raises money during airshow

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – While the WHAS Crusade for Children raised money for children on the ground all weekend, another group took their planes to the air to bring in the bucks.

The event was part of the annual Wings for Kids Air Show hosted by the River City Radio Controllers held at the Bill Fluke Airfield in Tom Sawyer Park.

The group raises money for Kosair Children’s Hospital and have raked in a lot of dollars for their cause. 
 
The Air Show also featured a candy drop, plenty of food a bounce house and flight simulators.
