(WHAS11) -- Wall Street got into the Christmas spirit on Wednesday.
Santa was on hand Wednesday morning to help ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
This was in anticipation of Thursday's big Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Santa's magic seemed to work.
The Dow closed up 48 points
