LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- "She'll brighten up your day, just seeing her dancing and smile, would make anyone smile," Shenita Rickman, a family member, said.
It's a smile now remembered through photos - a 16-month-old girl who was full of life and had a bounce in every step.
Ne'Riah Miller's family gathered at King Solomon Baptist Church, in West Louisville Friday, to say their final farewells to an innocent victim of a brutal attack outside her home Aug. 27.
"The neighborhood they're from, they don't snitch," Myika Miller said.
Police have arrested two men connected to Ne'Riah's murder but believe there are others and are still searching for the other suspects involved in the shooting that killed Ne'Riah and injured her mother, Cierra Twyman.
"There are no words to explain as to her emotional and mental state," Rickman said.
The family has made continuous pleas for its neighbors to help find the other suspects.
"She's one. One year old. How could you not want to call that in and make sure this baby had justice for her senseless death?" Miller said.
