HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A string of accidents on I-65 in Hardin County left several people dead and others injured. The most recent crash happened Monday near Elizabethtown.
One woman who was pinned between two semi's says it's a miracle she's even alive. WHAS11's Maggie Ruper spoke exclusively with the woman Thursday afternoon. Natalie Mudd, 35, is in good spirits and thankful to be alive.
Police say a semi hit two cars before slamming into a white van that was stopped behind another semi. Mudd was in that white van, EMT's say it's a miracle she survived.
The semi involved also hit a black Ford Escape that flipped into the air and overturned. John Warner, 61, of Goshen was in that car and suffered life threatening injuries.
