LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A group of Louisville teens involved with Pact in Action unveiled a documentary they have produced.
Tuesday was the first screening of the film, #preventinit.
Teens from the Parkhill, Algonquin and California neighborhoods created the film to tell the story of their efforts to prevent teen dating violence.
Pact in Action aims to encourage teens in those neighborhoods to reduce the number of domestic violence situations by 10 percent by the year 2020.
The movie was made possible through a grant from the University of Louisville’s office of the Vice President for Community Engagement.
