Wildwood, Missouri (KMOV) -- Police have released security camera video of a man they say burglarized rap star Nelly's home in Wildwood.
The video, taken by a camera above an outside door shows what appears to be a young man snooping around a door and window, checking to see if they are locked. Police say the suspect eventually got into the home through a window.
Nelly was not at home, however there were guests in the house at the time. One of those guests did confront the burglar.
Nelly's father, Cornell Haynes, told News KMOV's Laurie Waters that they think it was probably someone who had been in the house before, possibly at a party.
"Whoever it was, they knew where they were going," Haynes said.
The suspect made off with a duffle bag full of small items, reportedly video games and some cash.
"It was mainly little things," said Haynes. Speaking of the burglar, Haynes said, "I think he was more scared than anything."
