LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- Two Kentucky residents died yesterday after a single-engine plane they were traveling on crashed in suburban Chicago.
The Chicago-Tribune reported the victims to be Dr. Narayan Venguswamy, 63, and his wife, Jay Venguswamy. Dr. Venguswamy was piloting the plane. He had worked at Georgetown Community Hospital in Kentucky for 27 years and was a registered pilot.
After taking off from Georgetown-Scott County Airport, about an hour from Louisville, the plane crashed just a half mile from Clow Airport in Bolingbrook, Ill. in a bank parking lot. The plane was scheduled to land at Clow Airport.
No other injuries were reported.
